The Republic of Amerada holds great pride in its simulated sports tradition. Hockey, Curling, Football, and Rugby are played nationwide with great support. Ice Hockey, is played in the winter, and it's major showcase, is the Amerada Professional Hockey League. Its prize at the end of the year, is the Caldorial Cup. Curling, another winter sport, has a big tournament each year, that lasts 2 and a half months. In the summer, Ameradian rules Football is played, in the Amerada Professional Football League. Rugby is also played, and has many tournaments that include the World Sevens, and the Amerada Nines. Amerada has also contested various sporting championships in the past, the most recent being the Amerada Soccer Cup. We also attempted to run an Amerada Sports Championships series which was very exciting, but was deemed to expensive, and became bankrupt. Los Antréal, in the Ameradian Territory of Tebec will be hosting the first ever Micro-Monde games in October.
